Lumina was founded in 1980 and even then Tommaso Cimini had a very clear principle: it is the function that generates the form. This was also the case for Daphine, a linear, essential and inconic lamp on which the history of the company is based. Each lamp created in those years of debut was brought into the family to be tested in everyday life, so that light could be experienced and the shape in its ergonomic aspects examined; a verification modality that is still practiced today. The desire to produce in the historic workshop, innate craftsmanship, quality control are still the strengths of Lumina today. The founder's legacy is well present in the corporate culture.
