Lodes MAP Corner Bracket for modular system

MAP Corner Bracket by LODES is a metal accessory designed for the MAP modular system, developed in collaboration with Berlin-based studio Geckeler Michels. With a total height of 87 mm, this component enables ceiling-to-wall transition angles, keeping the system's conductor tape firmly in place and ensuring both aesthetic and functional continuity throughout the entire composition.

The Corner Bracket is an essential accessory whenever the MAP composition needs to transition from ceiling to wall: it manages the change of direction of the tape with precision, keeping the entire system aligned and stable. Available in the three standard finishes of the MAP system, it integrates seamlessly with all other components of the collection, adapting to any residential or contract project in the living room, office or other indoor environments.

The MAP system is built starting from a starting module — the Starting Point (available in Triac or DALI protocols) or the Connection Point (non-luminous) — to which the Additional Points are connected, the light modules that can be freely distributed along the tape. The MAP Tape conductor tape, with a maximum length of 8 metres, powers the entire system while always concealing the origin of the power supply. The Ceiling Bracket is the accessory to be applied on compositions with spans exceeding two metres between one light point and another, while the Corner Bracket is specifically used at angular transitions.

The compact dimensions of the Corner Bracket — 6.3 × 8.7 × 2.1 cm — allow for a discreet installation that does not alter the clean lines of the system. The metal construction ensures solidity and long-lasting durability. Please note that the Corner Bracket does not constitute a complete system: to build a fully functional composition, it must be combined with other MAP components, including at least one Starting Point or Connection Point, the MAP Tape and the desired Additional Points.
