Kartell Lepid console table

The Kartell Lepid console table, designed by Patricia Urquiola and presented at Salone del Mobile 2025, is a contemporary design piece that makes the contrasting edge its most distinctive trait. Crafted from polyester lacquered MDF with wood sourced from FSC-certified forests and partially recycled material, the structure is assembled using an interlocking rail system that ensures structural solidity and ease of installation. Lines that meet and overlap, precisely calibrated solids and voids create a light rhythm in space, turning a structural detail into an immediately recognisable graphic element.

Available in ivory, burgundy and mustard, the Lepid console table integrates effortlessly into contemporary and refined interiors, finding its ideal place in the living room as well as in a study or an entrance hallway with character. The carefully chosen colour palette, designed to achieve sharp contrasts between surfaces and profiles, enhances the Made in Italy craftsmanship and Urquiola's design vision, which reinterprets the furniture system in a formal, contemporary language within the LEPID collection — a coordinated system that also includes bookcases, shelves and sideboards.
