Il Pezzo 3 battery lamp by Il Pezzo Mancante, designed by Barbara Bertocci and Cosimo Terzani, is a rechargeable cordless table lamp that reinterprets the traditional Italian candle holder through a contemporary design language. Handmade in Florence, it combines hand-bent satin brass, solid crystal and Volterra alabaster, noble materials that celebrate Italian craftsmanship and transform light into an element capable of creating warm, intimate and elegant atmospheres.

The project transforms an object deeply rooted in everyday domestic history into a refined portable lamp for modern interiors. The solid crystal diffuser produces a soft, candle-like glow, while the satin brass structure is entirely hand-finished by skilled artisans. The Volterra alabaster base discreetly houses the rechargeable battery, the integrated LED module and the USB-C charging port, preserving the purity of the design. Thanks to its cordless construction, Il Pezzo 3 battery lamp is perfectly suited to dining tables, restaurants, boutique hotels and the living room, where it becomes both a functional light source and an elegant decorative object. The integrated LEDs at 2700K warm white with a CRI above 95 deliver exceptionally natural colour rendering, while the touch dimmer allows brightness to be adjusted effortlessly to suit the desired ambience.

The collection is available in two versions, each designed for a different setting. The one-light version faithfully recalls the traditional candle holder and is ideal for illuminating an intimate table for two while maintaining clear sightlines between guests. The two-light version reinterprets the classic candelabra and is designed as a refined centrepiece capable of comfortably lighting a table for up to four people. Both versions operate at a universal input voltage of 100–240 V and incorporate a dedicated driver to ensure stable power delivery and consistent light output over time. The absorbed power is 27 W, with a long-lasting integrated LED source.
