Halogen bulbs
Halogen Bulbs: the Range at Diffusione Luce
Diffusione Luce offers a complete selection of halogen light bulbs and light sources. Halogen technology has been present on the market for decades as an evolution of incandescent bulbs, ensuring warm high-quality light, instant switching on, and perfect color rendering (CRI 100).
Technological features
Halogen bulbs work on the incandescent principle, with the tungsten filament enclosed in a bulb containing halogen gases (iodine or bromine) that increase its lifespan and luminous efficiency compared to traditional incandescent bulbs. They also ensure full dimmability with traditional dimmers.
Available types
- Halogen capsule bulbs G4, G9, GY6.35 for decorative applications
- Dichroic halogen bulbs GU5.3, GU10 for recessed spotlights
- Tubular halogen bulbs R7s of various lengths
- Classic-shape halogen bulbs with E27 and E14 sockets
When to prefer halogen
Despite the advent of LED, halogens are still preferred in some specific applications where CRI 100, flicker-free dimming, instant switching on without delays, and particularly warm light are required. If a product shows zero availability, it can still be ordered on request: average delivery times are shown in the product page.
