Flos Almendra S3 Y Short suspension lamp

Flos Almendra S3 Y Short is a suspension lamp designed by Patricia Urquiola for Flos, inspired by the shape of the almond tree. Its tubular structure in 100% recyclable extruded aluminium — assembled without glues, using only invisible screws — supports three diffuser petals in eco-sustainable polycarbonate derived from paper production. The Edge Lighting Technology optical system delivers a soft, enveloping light, while the petals can be rotated in 60° steps to direct the emission upward or downward, offering remarkable versatility.

Powered by a 45 W LED source with a 2700 K warm white colour temperature and a CRI 95 colour rendering index, the Almendra S3 Y Short ensures outstanding light quality. It is fully dimmable via 1-10V, DALI, pushbutton or potentiometer systems, with electronics integrated into the included matt white metal canopy. The 3000 mm power cord is adjustable. Rated IP20 for indoor use, it is an ideal choice for the living room or kitchen, where refined design and sustainability come together in a single, naturally inspired composition. A Primer canopy version, paintable after installation with water-based finishes, is available on request.
