Flos Almendra S2 Y Short suspension lamp

Flos Almendra S2 Y Short is a suspension lamp designed by Patricia Urquiola for Flos, featuring a 100% recyclable extruded aluminium tubular structure with CNC aluminium terminals and two diffuser petals in eco-sustainable polycarbonate. The integrated Edge Lighting Technology delivers soft, enveloping diffused light through a 30 W LED source at 2700 K warm white, with a CRI95 colour rendering index for outstanding colour fidelity. The petals can be rotated in 60° steps — directed upward or downward — to modulate the quality and direction of the emitted light. The lamp is dimmable and compatible with 1-10V, DALI, pushbutton or potentiometer dimming systems.

Inspired by the almond tree — the origin of its Spanish name — Almendra S2 Y Short blends organic aesthetics with sustainability, reflecting Flos' commitment to responsible manufacturing: every component is fully disassemblable and recyclable, assembled without adhesives using concealed screws. A refined choice for the living room or high-end contract environments, this S2 Y Short version includes a matt white metal canopy, a 3000 mm adjustable cable and an integrated driver with IP20 protection rating. A Primer canopy version, paintable after installation with water-based finishes for seamless integration, is available upon request.
