Driade Tokyo Pop armchair

Driade Tokyo Pop armchair is an icon of contemporary design by Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka, who made his debut on the international scene in 2002 with the Tokyo-Pop collection. The monobloc structure is crafted in rotationally moulded polyethylene, a technique that allowed a shape originally conceived in paper — inspired by a cast of the human body — to be translated into plastic. The result is an object that transcends the ordinariness of its material to become a true sculptural piece.

Thanks to its versatility and the durability of polyethylene, the Tokyo-Pop armchair is equally at home in outdoor settings — terraces, gardens and open-air spaces — and indoors in the living room.
