AVG Calypso wood table lamp and concrete

AVG Calypso is a modern table lamp handcrafted in Italy, combining natural materials and high-quality craftsmanship in a distinctly contemporary design. The base is made from Portland cement treated and smoothed with the addition of iron oxides, while the lamp holder is crafted from natural larch wood treated with beeswax, fitted with an E26/E27 socket. The contrast between the raw texture of cement and the warmth of wood gives Calypso a unique aesthetic character, making it a truly distinctive decorative element.

With its design that blends simplicity and refinement, Calypso adapts elegantly to a variety of domestic settings: it is particularly well suited for the living room or the bedroom, where its soft, warm light creates an inviting atmosphere. The lamp is compatible with LED or halogen light sources and is available in three bulb versions — chrome glass, opal glass and transparent glass — offering flexibility in light output and decorative effect. The included light source is a 1×E27, 8W, 680 lm, 3000K warm white lamp. The 2-metre fabric cable with plug included ensures easy installation, while the built-in switch provides immediate on/off control. On request, a dimmable switch version is also available. The compact dimensions — 100 mm diameter by 200 mm height — make it ideal for bedside tables, shelves or desks. The IP30 protection rating indicates indoor use only, with an input voltage compatible with major international standards from 100 to 240 V, making it suitable for EU, USA, UK, Australian and Japanese markets.
