Artemide Eclisse table lamp

Artemide Eclisse is an iconic table lamp designed by Vico Magistretti in 1965, winner of the Compasso d'Oro Award in 1967. Crafted in painted steel and technopolymer, its essential spherical form conceals a mechanism as simple as it is ingenious: a fixed outer shell and a rotating inner shell that progressively "eclipses" the light source, allowing the user to adjust both the intensity and direction of the light. The lamp features an integrated on/off switch and an E14 lampholder, compatible with LED or halogen light sources. Its universal voltage of 100-240 V makes it suitable for use anywhere in the world.

Eclisse is far more than a lamp: it is a manifesto of Italian design, part of the permanent collections of the MoMA in New York and the Triennale Design Museum in Milan.
