Description
Product Information:

First, designed by Michele De Lucchi for Memphis Milano in 1983, is a chair that combines functionality and sculptural design in a playful and light balance. Its apparently simple structure comes alive with bold geometric shapes and colour contrasts, evoking an aesthetic that seems to dialogue with the art of Alexander Calder and his famous furniture.

The chair is composed of lacquered wood and painted metal elements, designed to be easily assembled and replicated. The tilting blue backrest is one of the distinctive elements, offering a functional yet visually appealing touch. The armrests, represented by two black spheres, add a playful and symbolic dimension, transforming a practical detail into an iconic design element.

First embodies the spirit of the Memphis movement, challenging traditional design conventions with an approach that fuses craftsmanship and industrial production. It is not just a chair, but a manifesto of creativity and innovation, conveying a sense of freedom and experimentation through every detail.
