VP Globe Warm Peach - Historical suspension lamp in the shape of a bubble with diffused light emission, for indoor environments. Outer shell in acrylic, reflectors in painted aluminum suspended with steel chains. Diameter of Ø40 cm.
The historic but futuristic VP Globe Warm Peach suspension lamp was designed by Verner Panton in 1969, a designer known as one of the most important representatives of the space age, of which the lamp reflects this style of the late 60s and 70s.
The VP Globe Warm Peach features an external sphere in clear crystalline acrylic, complete with five internal reflectors in painted aluminum with light pink notes, suspended by three steel chains. Panton's ambition was to design a lamp that could grab attention and "unite" a room, regardless of whether it was hung individually or in groups. This makes the suspension an ideal choice above a dining table, in a small or long corridor, or as a sculptural element in a corner of the room. The bulb in the center of the VP Globe Warm Peach disperses the diffused light for mood lighting.
