Read more ...One of the first luminaires designed by Verner Panton in 1960 was the Moon pendant light, with which the design icon launched a completely new creative style. Ten lamellae in white lacquered aluminum, vertically superimposed one on top of the other, form the body of this suspension; the lamellae which increase in diameter from the inside out, are mobile and can be individually rotated one above the other. The charm of this lamp is found in the detail, in fact, once shaped, the lamellae completely hide the central light source, but reflect the incoming light through the interstices towards the outside, creating an unprecedented play of light and perfectly free of glare, which will completely change the atmosphere of the room.
Moon in the Large version has a diameter of 44.5 cm and features Verner Panton's signature on the innermost part of the ten lamellae. The white ceiling rose is included and is complete with a 250 cm long suspension cable in white fabric. The light source is a bulb with E27 (230V) - E26 (120V) socket with max power 60W, not included. Fan-shaped vertical lamellae design for individual light adjustment.
