Driade King Costes, design armchair made of steel and wood in different versions and finishes (four legs). Suitable for indoor use only. Sold individually.
The historic Costes armchair created for the first time in 1984, marked the beginning of the collaboration between the designer Philippe Starck and Driade and the consecration of the then unknown designer in Italy. Designed for the Parisian café of the same name, now disappeared, it owes its timeless success to the absoluteness of its shape: an enveloping wooden shell and four strongly inclined legs.
Polished aluminum tubular structure, curved plywood shell with mahogany, ebonized oak or bamboo finishes. Padding in polyurethane foams with fixed cover in black or light leather. Indoor use.
