Born in Kansas City, Missouri, Jeremy Scott set out to change the world of fashion and design. In 1996 he graduated in Fashion Design from the Pratt Institute and immediately moved to Paris debuting his signature brand Jeremy Scott in a much-heralded presentation in 1997. He collaborated with Christian Louboutin and Stephen Jones on accessories for his fashion shows, received awards from Karl Lagerfeld and in 1996 and 1997 received the Venus de la Mode Award for best new designer. In 1999 he was named Best Young Designer by the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). Jeremy Scott is himself a pop icon who has created a strong fashion sensibility recognized around the world.
In October 2013 he was appointed Creative Director of the Italian luxury brand Moschino and during his tenure he introduced memorable collaborations.
