Spanish artist-designer Jaime Hayón was born in Madrid in 1974. His artistic vision was fully exhibited for the first time in the installations "Mediterranean Digital Baroque" and "Mon Cirque", collections that put Jaime at the forefront of a new wave that blurred the boundaries between art, decoration and design, while also adding a renaissance of intricate objects. Jaime then further enriched his vision in subsequent solo shows and at major design and art galleries and fairs around the world. After founding Hayon Studio in 2001, his vast clientele spanned various functions and means, including domestic furniture (for BD Barcellona, Cassina, Fritz Hansen, & Tradition and Magis) and lighting fixtures (for Parachilna, Metalarte and Swarovski) .
Hayón Studio's creative base is in Valencia, Spain, with offices in Barcelona and Treviso, Italy. Jaime's work has appeared in the most prestigious art and design publications in the world, and has won several awards, including numerous Elle Decoration International Design Awards, included by Wallpaper Magazine in its "Top 100" list and recognized as one of the most influencers of the past decade, lauded as a visionary and one of Times magazine's most creative icons.
