Born in Lecce in 1966, Fabio Novembre soon moved to Milan where he graduated in Architecture at the Polytechnic in 1992; the following year he went to New York, where he attended a film directing course, which was crucial for the inspirations he would bring to his projects throughout his career. From 2001 he began to collaborate with important international design brands, such as Cappellini and Driade. A long-standing collaboration binds him to Driade, culminating first with the design of the Nemo chair and then with his appointment as Art Director in 2019. Since 2019 he has also been director of the Domus Academy and is part of the scientific committee for the new Design Museum of the Milan Triennale.
He takes care of various set-up projects for exhibitions, showrooms, galleries and commercial spaces: starting from his first experience for Anna Molinari's Blumarine store in London, up to the spectacular Bisazza showrooms in New York and Berlin, as well as the Hit Gallery in Hong Kong, concept store with metaphysical forms.
